Before you confirm a ride or delivery, MiRide shows you the full fare. That number is locked in — it does not change mid-trip and it does not increase at checkout.

Compare that to hailing from the street — haggling on price, uncertainty about the route, no record of what you agreed. With MiRide, the price is set before you move and the receipt is in your app when you arrive.

What affects your fare

  • Vehicle class Economy, Comfort, or Premium — each has its own rate tier. Choose what fits your trip.
  • Trip distance The route between pickup and drop-off, calculated along the actual road path.
  • Trip duration Time in the vehicle from start to finish.
  • Time of day and demand Fares may vary at different times. When they do, the adjusted fare is shown before you confirm.

Deliveries

Senders see the fare. Couriers see their earnings. Both numbers are fixed before anyone moves.

When you send a package, the total fare is shown before you confirm. When a courier accepts a delivery, their earnings for that delivery are shown before they accept. Neither number changes mid-delivery.

Pricing questions

How is my fare calculated?
Your fare is based on vehicle class, trip distance, and trip duration. All of these are calculated before you confirm, so you always know what you'll pay before the ride starts.
Why does the fare change at different times?
Fares can vary based on demand and time of day. Any adjustment is reflected in the price shown to you before you confirm — you'll never be charged more than what you agreed to.
What vehicle classes are available?
MiRide offers Economy (everyday saloons and hatchbacks), Comfort (newer vehicles with more space), and Premium (executive saloons). Each class has its own fare tier.
What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay with the MiRide Wallet, EcoCash, or cash. OneMoney, InnBucks, Visa, and Mastercard are coming soon.
Can I get a refund if something goes wrong?
Yes. If your trip was affected by a verified service issue, contact our support team and we will review your case. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method or MiRide Wallet.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes — every completed trip generates a receipt visible in your trip history in the app. You can share it from there.
