What we collect (overview)

The full policy will detail exactly what data we collect across:

  • Account registration (name, phone number, email)
  • Trip and delivery data (GPS locations, route, timing)
  • Payment information (processed via EcoCash / MiRide Wallet — we do not store raw card data)
  • SOS audio recordings (retained 90 days, then automatically deleted — ZW Data Protection Act compliant)
  • Device and usage data (app version, crash logs)

Third-party processors

We use the following processors (full disclosures in the finalised policy):

  • Paynow / EcoCash — payment processing
  • Africa's Talking — SMS OTP delivery
  • eSMS — SMS notifications
  • OpenStreetMap — map tiles
  • Google Maps — office embed on /contact (consent-gated)

Your rights

Under the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. To make a data subject request, contact: info@miride.app
